Subject: Suppressing gdb shared library noise?
I occasionally run an app under gdb that has several hundred shared
libraries/modules, and generally the gdb output is horribly cluttered
with hundreds of lines of
Reading symbols for shared libraries . done
Reading symbols for shared libraries ......................... done
Reading symbols for shared libraries . done
Reading symbols for shared libraries . done
(This is under 10.6).
Is there a reasonable way to suppress this output, short of
patching gdb?
Is this the sort of thing that it is pointful to file a radar bug on?
Thanks.
John Hawkinson
